The Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science and Mathematics (FSM), Universitas Diponegoro once again achieved a remarkable accomplishment in the 2026 Student Creativity Program (PKM). A total of 6 proposals from Chemistry students successfully secured national funding, making Chemistry the study program with the highest number of funded proposals within FSM.
This achievement reflects the spirit of innovation, research excellence, and multidisciplinary collaboration demonstrated by UNDIP Chemistry students in creating impactful solutions for society and scientific advancement.
FSM Ranked First Among UNDIP Faculties and Schools
At the university level, FSM secured the first rank among faculties and schools at Universitas Diponegoro with a total of 11 funded PKM 2026 proposals. Out of these, the largest contribution came from the Department of Chemistry with 6 funded proposals.
The distribution of funded proposals among faculties and schools at UNDIP is as follows:
- Faculty of Science and Mathematics: 11 proposals
- Faculty of Engineering: 7 proposals
- Faculty of Medicine: 4 proposals
- Faculty of Humanities: 2 proposals
- Faculty of Social and Political Sciences: 2 proposals
- Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences: 2 proposals
- Faculty of Law: 1 proposal
- Vocational School: 1 proposal
Chemistry Becomes the Largest Contributor in FSM
At the study program level within FSM, the Chemistry Study Program became the top contributor with the following distribution:
- Chemistry: 6 proposals
- Physics: 3 proposals
- Biology: 1 proposal
- Informatics: 1 proposal

This accomplishment highlights the capability of UNDIP Chemistry students in developing innovative and competitive ideas at the national level.
UNDIP Chemistry PKM 2026 Proposals
In PKM 2026, UNDIP Chemistry students successfully received funding for:
- 1 PKM-K proposal (Entrepreneurship)
- 5 PKM-RE proposals (Exact Science Research)
The dominance in the PKM-RE scheme demonstrates the strong research culture and scientific development within the Department of Chemistry FSM UNDIP.
