Organic Chemistry and Natural Product Chemistry

Research focuses on:

  • Isolation of secondary metabolite compounds from plants
  • Synthesis of bioactive compound analogs (such as curcumin and its derivatives)
  • Studies on biological activities of organic compounds, including enzyme inhibitory activities (e.g., α-amylase inhibition)
  • Development of nanoparticles based on natural product extracts
  • Applications of natural product chemistry in pharmaceutical and biochemical fields
  • Development of bioactive compounds derived from Indonesian natural resources and structural engineering of organic compounds for health-related applications
