Organic Chemistry and Organic Synthesis
Research focuses on:
- Synthesis of organic compounds derived from natural products
- Green chemistry approaches and utilization of biomass waste such as chitosan and eugenol derivatives
- Development of polymeric and biopolymeric materials, including Schiff bases and chitosan derivatives
- Applications of synthesized materials as antibacterial agents, antioxidants, adsorbents, and functional materials
- Engineering of nanoparticle-based materials, such as AgNPs and polymer composites
- Environmentally friendly (green synthesis) approaches for industrial applications in health, food, and environmental sectors
