Natural Product Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Applied Organic Chemistry

Research focuses on:

  • Isolation and characterization of secondary metabolite compounds from plants and endophytic microorganisms
  • Biological activities of natural compounds, including antioxidant, antibacterial, antidiabetic, and anticancer properties
  • Synthesis of derivative organic compounds (such as azomethines and eugenol-based polymers)
  • Encapsulation technology of bioactive compounds using chitosan nanoparticles
  • Utilization of natural products (eugenol, cinnamaldehyde, limonene, etc.) for pharmaceutical and food applications
  • Applied microbiological studies on endophytic bacteria producing bioactive compounds
