Research focuses on:

  • Synthesis and characterization of chitosan-based and organic–inorganic composite materials
  • Development of nanoparticles, such as silver nanoparticles, with antibacterial activity
  • Studies on biomedical materials including calcium phosphate and hydroxyapatite for bone filler applications
  • Modification of materials using silica, cerium, and bioactive compounds such as curcumin
  • Applications of functional composite materials in biomedical, antibacterial, and environmental systems
