Materials Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry (Membrane Technology)

Research focuses on:

  • Synthesis and modification of chitosan- and polymer-based membranes
  • Development of membrane-based slow-release fertilizers (SRF)
  • Studies on substance transport (such as urea and creatinine) through membranes for medical applications, including hemodialysis
  • Development of adsorbent materials and membrane systems for environmental applications, including wastewater treatment and fertilizer technologies
  • Applications of biomaterials and membrane technologies in environmental remediation, medical systems, and agriculture
