Inorganic Chemistry and Functional Materials Based on Silica and Natural Minerals

Research focuses on:

  • Synthesis and modification of silica, magnetite, and natural zeolite materials
  • Development of smart adsorbents for the treatment of heavy metal and phenol-containing wastewater
  • Sol–gel-based composite materials, including silica–magnetite–surfactant systems
  • Applications of functional materials for environmental remediation, including wastewater treatment, heavy metal removal, and dye degradation
  • Surface studies and adsorption techniques based on inorganic materials
  • Utilization of Indonesian natural minerals (iron sand, clays, and zeolites) as high-value functional materials for environmental applications
